ConnectED, a Kukje India Group initiative, participated in the EduNation Summit 2025 hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, bringing together key stakeholders from India’s education, skills and employment ecosystem.

The event provided an important platform for discussions around evolving industry requirements, emerging career opportunities and the skills expected from today’s job aspirants. ConnectED extended its appreciation to the organisers of #EduNationSummit2025 and IIT Guwahati for the opportunity to participate and contribute to these conversations.

Representing ConnectED, Mr. Prashant Mishra, Director, and Mr. Edward Seo, Director, shared their perspectives on industry trends, workforce requirements and the expectations of employers from students, educators and educational institutions. Their participation highlighted the growing importance of closer collaboration between academia and industry to prepare young professionals for changing global employment markets.

A key milestone at the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ConnectED and VEECAP EDUVENTURES PVT. LTD. The partnership will support the implementation of ConnectED’s flagship “Learn & Earn in Korea” programme.

Under the first phase of the initiative, the programme aims to upskill 150 youth from Northeast India in high-demand and emerging sectors, including Semiconductor, Smart Mobility, Smart Engineering, Global Health, Hospitality and Hotel Management.

The programme is designed to combine skill development with international career exposure. As outlined for the initiative, selected participants will have access to a monthly stipend of ₹50,000–₹70,000 during the programme, along with an opportunity for placement in South Korea upon successful completion, with the stated employment package of $2,000.

The initiative reflects a broader effort to create stronger pathways connecting education, industry-relevant skills and international employment opportunities. By providing young talent with specialised training and exposure to global industries, programmes such as “Learn & Earn in Korea” seek to help bridge the gap between academic learning and workforce requirements.

The EduNation Summit witnessed participation from more than 100 institutions and 500 delegates, including senior administrators, professors, industry leaders, decision-makers and government representatives. The diverse participation created opportunities for meaningful dialogue and potential collaborations across the education and employment ecosystem.

The MoU between ConnectED and VEECAP EDUVENTURES marks another step towards building industry-aligned education and global career pathways for Indian youth, while strengthening collaboration between educational institutions, industry stakeholders and international opportunities.
